Household budget

Where does your money go? Enter your income and spending to see what is left, a map of the biggest lines and a comparison with past months

Why write your budget every month?

  1. You see where your money goes: When you write down every cost, you see the line that takes more than it should. That is the first step to controlling it.
  2. You catch it before the month ends: If spending gets close to your income, you know early and can put off what is not urgent.
  3. You compare month by month: After two or three months you see whether rent or groceries went up, and plan next month on your own numbers, not on guesses.

Where are your numbers kept? At first your numbers are saved in this browser only and are not sent anywhere. To have them on any device, you can save them in your community account (optional, at the end of the page) or download a copy as a file. We never ask for bank or card numbers.
